I wasn’t a huge fan of the Bahamas, but I loved the private Disney Island, castaway cay. I loved the cruise though. Did you like Bahamas? Oh and the pictures were pretty cool. Was that you doing the insane yoga pose?
Ha, no – it’s Marina doing the crazy yoga pose. I thought about posting some of our two-person acroyoga photos, but our faces are showing in all of them, and this one of her hides her face (you know how I feel about anonymity).
The Bahamas was alright. It sounds snobby, but after going to the Grenadines with Bryan last year, exploring (literally!) deserted islands on our own private catamaran, the tourist-infested, commercialized ports of the Bahamas just didn’t do it for me. But I still appreciated the time to get away from the office!
In my mind, the Bahamas were hyped up quite a bit as a tropical paradise, but honestly it is just another third world country. I was always thirsty there, and we always had to buy bottled water and I only liked it when we were on the Paradise Island resort. The rest I could have done without. I love Hawaii way more.
Great pictures!

Thanks, Ally! That’s one of the things I most love about the Canon 5D – it really does a great job capturing colors!

HA! Pretty much. I think the bottled water companies make a killing there.
