I don’t think I ever made a list of 30 Things To Do Before Turning 30. I surely must have made that list at some point, but I went through my old emails and documents, and I can’t find anything saved digitally. I guess I’m showing my age… “When I was a girl, we used to write lists out by hand!” Ha.
Rather than scoring myself on that never-to-be-found-handwritten list (of what I did and did not accomplish by age 30), I will instead list out 30 Things I Did Before 30 – all of which are things I feel like could have been on my list!

What fun! It’s a good list. I sailed to Hawaii on the edge of a hurricane and hit a home run in softball once. Those are the highlights I remember best.
Eat your veggies and wear sunscreen! Those are two things I wish people had told me to put on my list. I’m pretty healthy, but the older you get the more apparent it is that that is really good advice. One day unprotected out in the sun eating nothing but junk food and I look like I’ve just spent two weeks out clubbing 24/7 in a foreign country somewhere. 🙂

Haha. Good advice! I am trying to eat more veggies — recently discovered cauliflower mash (like mashed potatoes but healthier). I have to find ways to get vegetables hidden into my meals!

I’ve done six of those things. You have certainly had thirty full and wonderful years so far.
Happy Birthday! J.

Thanks, my favorite and bitterest Ben in all the land! You are the best and hopefully will have good things coming your way very soon (especially since you still have a backlog of bitter stores to blog about)!

Yeah, my blog really does depend on my having a job, so I can blog about things happening at work. And I am much more focused when I have work to try to distract me from doing it.

Exactly!!! I think I will blog a lot less when I am n0t stuck at a computer for 40 hours a week without anything meaningful to do!

That will stink. But hopefully you will find the time to keep us all updated on things.
