Last night’s coping mechanism was eating an entire sleeve of Oreos (with milk, of course) and binge watching Parks & Recreation (while lamenting the fact that my soul mate, Ron Swanson, is a fictional character).
I’m hoping that tomorrow night’s coping mechanism is running 5 miles.

Aurora, your coping decisions are so much healthier than mine (gin and tonic, Coke and whiskey, etc.) J.

Ha! You are probably the only person who would call my coping decisions “healthy”! š

It’s all relative, isn’t it?

You have good taste in fictional characters. Not sure if links work, but I like this Ron Swanson video:

My coping mechanism is video games, so you know being destructive with aliens. Sorry you are going through this. š¦

Video games are an excellent coping mechanism. Especially ones that involve being destructive. And shooting things. And causing chaos. And embracing the inner rage (and bitterness)!!!

Oh my gosh yeah. I used to love to play Simpson’s Road rage way back when because they allowed you to drive around anywhere and knock people over and now I just enjoy shooting games because it let’s you get all your bitter rage out.

It’s harmless. My therapy is sometimes an “ancient” game … Starcraft. No 5 mile run?

My brother used to play Starcraft! It looked like a fun game. Nothing like losing yourself in an escapist world of aliens and building fortresses.
No 5 mile run yet, but… it might happen tonight!
